Game - September 1st

The 1st XI moved up to 7th place in the Premier League with a good win over Notts & Arnold at the Strand.

After deciding to bat first they made a very promising start and then continued to dominate until their innings closed at 255 for 8.

Angad Singh, opening the batting, hit his highest 1s score with 84; Lucas Stentiford hit his 6th Premier League half century and Matt Hill hit some stunning boundaries in recording his highest 1st team score with an unbeaten 31.  In reaching 25 Marvric Pamphile also established a new high score.

In reply Notts & Arnold regularly lost wickets before being bowled out for 205.  Skipper Josh Wilson was the main wicket taker with 3 for 41 which puts him three ahead in the 1st XI's leading wicket taker race.  Rafay Ahmed and Marvric Pamphile each claimed a couple of victims.
