It's time for Over and Out - I've been looking at both batting and bowling and identifying those players that have either faced just 6 balls (not necessarily one over from one bowler) and been out or have bowled just a single over and taken at least one wicket.
I've only looked those batters that have scored at least 10 runs in their 6 balls.
There are two players at the top of the batting list; Arjun Sandhu and Shaun Fitzgibbon both scored 12 runs as well as being out within their 6 balls. Martin Shoemaker scored 11 and Charlie Smith and Chris Allcoat both scored 10. Chris Allcoat was the only player to have a 6 hit recorded.
On the bowling front; just one player has taken 3 wickets in his one over - Nick Gibson took 3 for 1. Three players managed two wickets - Mark Walsh, Josh Wilson and Callum Turney, conceding 6, 7 and 12 runs respectively.
There are 7 players that have achieved a wicket maiden - Arjun Sandhu, Brad Bernie, Mark Bateman, P Hemmingsley, Phil Hill, Rod Kitching and Sam Etherington.
On the more unfortunate side, the players that have taken a wicket but also conceded 10 or more runs in their over are: George Barker (15), Mark Bateman (14), Gurjeet Singh Sandhu (14) and Alex Heath (10).
There are a few players in the middle ground for bowling that I've not listed but there may be very many batsmen that have not appeared because the number of balls they faced was not recorded in Play-Cricket.
And that's over and out from me!
