A secure 6 wicket win for the 1st XI against Radcliffe-on-Trent saw their wickets spread pretty evenly between our bowlers, who also managed to keep the run rate down to nothing too challenging. Lucas Stentiford led the batting with an unbeaten 77 from 91 balls hitting 12 4s on the way.
The 2nd XI unfortunately saw the opposite result with a 6 wicket defeat to Hucknall. After being bowled out with 5 overs left of their rain reduced 35 overs, the visitors got off to a rapid start in response and then proceeded calmly to achieve the win. Patrick Ryan (36) and Oliver Trafford (31) contributed the most to the team's 124 and Alex Lawrence picked up a couple of the wickets taken.
The 3rd XI's home game against Burton Joyce also ended in defeat. Relying heavily on a couple of their batsmen they managed to amass 186 runs at getting on for 7 an over. Bhavesh Panchal took 4 of the 6 wickets to fall for 34 runs from his 7 overs. With wickets falling regularly our response never really got off the ground as we reached 85 for 9 wickets from our 28 overs.
