LBWs in a Row

Occasionally you do hear cricketers bemoaning the fact that they have been dismissed by LBW for a number of games in a row.

I can imagine that just two in a row would be galling; but more than that would be frustrating, annoying and, maybe most significantly, distracting in the next innings played.

Looking at competitive Saturday and Sunday team games and ignoring games where the player didn't bat or ended up not out, there are a few with four LBWs in succession.

Andy Simkiss in 2014, Angad Singh in 2022, Ben Shaw in 2015 and Sam Clulow in 2017.

However there are three players that have suffered a sequence of five LBWs.

Burhan Alam in 2017, all in 1st XI Premier League games.

Chris Allcoat going back to 2008, again for the 1st XI.

James Binnie between July 2017 and July 2018 split between 3rd XI and 4th XI.  The lengthy period obviously included a fair few games played that were either 'Not Out' or 'Did Not Bat'.
