Not the best of Saturdays from a results perspective, but some good individual performances.
On the batting side there were half centuries from Adi Badge (52 with 8 4s) for the 1st XI - his best score, at least for Attenborough, this season; Jake Ratcliffe (54 with 7 4s) for the 3rds - his first half century in only his sixth game and Carl Knight (52 with 74s) for the 4th XI - his 28th Saturday team 50.
Oscar Bean for the 1s and Dillan Gill for the 3s recorded a new high score of 27, both adding some important lower order runs for their team.
The number of wickets taken reduces the number of bowlers being highlighted but the most impressive performances came from the 4th XI game where four bowlers each took two wickets apiece. Andy Waddle (2-21), Oscar Emerson (2-30), Oliver McMillan (2-13) and James Goodlass (2-6) almost took the 4th XI to a win in the closest of games. Andy's wickets took him past 100 for Saturday teams; Oliver's came in his very first Saturday game and James's were his first wickets in only his second game.
