A good day for the 2nd XI as they beat RoT in the SNCL Division A relegation battle. The win takes them above Keyworth and out of the bottom two with just three games to go.
Yatharth Naik was the pick of the bowlers claiming 4 wickets for 17 - a new best bowling return. On the batting front Umar Zamman recorded his best score with 32 but it was a 7th wicket unbroken partnership of 65 between Jake Ratcliffe (46) and Martin Rayner (13) that saw the 3s home. Jake's score was also a new high for him.
The other games played saw heavy defeats for the 1st XI and 3rd XI.
The 3rd XI game recorded a new highest aggregate score for the team of 535 - sadly it was also a new highest losing margin at 311 runs. Oliver Gladden-Porter happily provided some positive news with a new high score with a rapid 35 off just 23 balls with 6 4s and one 6.
For the 1st XI Josh Wilson took over as the team's top wicket taker for the season with 3 for 70. One of the few other positive aspects of the game was Savin's dismissal for less than a century!
